Service Description
Sand painting is a unique art form found in West Africa. Instead of traditional paint, artists use natural or coloured sand to create their artwork. The sand may come from the desert, beaches or other natural environments. Different shades are carefully applied, little by little, to a surface such as canvas or cardboard coated with glue. With patience and precision, artists can create portraits, landscapes and scenes from everyday life. Come and create your own sand painting with the guidance of our experienced artists, who will accompany you throughout the workshop. At the end of the experience, you’ll take home your own artwork — a unique souvenir of your time in Senegal.
