Booking Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to the services offered by Seneasy, including activities and excursions, accommodation and transportation services.
By making a booking with Seneasy, the customer acknowledges that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
1. Booking Requests and Confirmation
Booking requests can be made through the Seneasy website, via WhatsApp, by email or through any other communication channel offered by Seneasy.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee the availability of the selected service.
Once we receive your request, our team will check availability and contact you to confirm the booking details.
A booking becomes final only once it has been confirmed by Seneasy and, where payment is required to secure the booking, once that payment has been received.
2. Prices
The applicable prices are those communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
Prices may vary depending on the service, number of participants, travel period, type of vehicle or accommodation, itinerary or options requested.
Before confirmation, the customer will be informed of the price of the service and the main items included.
Any additional expenses or services not included will be specified where applicable.
3. Payment
Unless otherwise specified, a 30% deposit may be required to confirm the booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before the start of the service, unless different payment terms are communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
Available payment methods will be communicated to the customer when booking.
Any fees charged by a bank, payment platform or payment provider remain the responsibility of the customer when they are not included in the quoted price.
If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, Seneasy reserves the right to cancel the booking after informing the customer.
For accommodation bookings, payment terms and the amount required to secure the booking may vary depending on the conditions set by the property owner or manager. These conditions will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
4. Cancellation by the Customer
For activities and transportation services, unless specific conditions have been communicated to the customer before booking, a reservation may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the service.
For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service, payments already made may be retained and all or part of the booking amount may remain payable where costs have already been incurred.
In the event of a no-show at the agreed date and time, a refund cannot be guaranteed.
Special Conditions for Accommodation
Accommodation bookings are not subject to the general 48-hour cancellation policy.
Each property applies the cancellation and refund policy set by its owner or manager.
These conditions may include specific cancellation deadlines, fees, a non-refundable deposit or different refund terms depending on the property and booking period.
The applicable conditions will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.
By confirming the booking and making the required payment, the customer acknowledges that they have read and accepted the conditions applicable to the selected accommodation.
5. Changes to a Booking
Any request to change the date, time, number of participants, itinerary, accommodation or service is subject to availability.
Seneasy will do its best to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee that the requested change will be possible.
Changes may result in a price adjustment where the conditions of the service change.
For accommodation bookings, any changes are also subject to the conditions set by the relevant property owner or manager.
6. Cancellation or Changes by Seneasy
In circumstances beyond our control — including adverse weather conditions, transportation issues, exceptional unavailability of a service provider, closure of a site or any event that may affect the safety or proper delivery of the service — Seneasy may need to modify or cancel a service.
In such cases, Seneasy will first seek to offer an equivalent solution, an alternative date or an alternative service.
If no suitable alternative can be offered and the service must be cancelled, payments made for the service that cannot be provided will be refunded, subject to any non-recoverable costs that were clearly communicated to the customer before booking.
7. Activities and Excursions
The customer agrees to respect the times, meeting points and instructions communicated before the service.
Some itineraries or programmes may be adapted depending on local conditions, weather, traffic, opening hours, access to sites or any other factor that may affect the activity.
Such changes do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund where they do not substantially alter the service booked.
Where an activity requires a particular level of physical fitness or is subject to specific restrictions, these will be communicated to the customer where known to Seneasy.
8. Accommodation
Accommodation offered by Seneasy is operated by independent property owners or managers and may be subject to specific terms and conditions for each property.
Prices, check-in and check-out times, any security deposits, property rules, included services and payment, modification, cancellation and refund conditions are determined individually for each property.
Seneasy will communicate the conditions applicable to the selected accommodation before the booking is confirmed.
If the customer cancels an accommodation booking, the cancellation conditions set by the relevant property owner or manager will apply. Any refund will therefore depend on the conditions communicated at the time of booking.
The customer agrees to respect the property, its facilities and any rules communicated by the accommodation provider during their stay.
Any damage caused by the customer or members of their party may result in a claim for compensation by the relevant property owner or manager.
9. Transportation
The customer must provide the information required to organise their transportation, including pick-up times and locations and, for airport transfers, the requested flight information.
In the event of a flight change or delay, the customer should inform Seneasy as soon as possible.
Any journey times provided are estimates and may vary depending on traffic, road conditions or other circumstances beyond Seneasy's control.
For self-drive car rentals, specific conditions may apply regarding the driver's age, driving licence, security deposit, insurance, fuel and use of the vehicle. These conditions will be communicated to the customer before the rental is confirmed.
10. Partner Service Providers
Some services offered by Seneasy are provided with the assistance of local partners, including guides, drivers, property owners or managers and activity providers.
Seneasy coordinates the booking and remains the customer's point of contact for services booked through Seneasy.
Customers must nevertheless comply with the safety rules, access conditions, schedules and instructions applicable to the relevant service provider.
11. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided when booking is accurate.
The customer is also responsible for holding all documents required for their stay and the services booked, including a passport, visa where required, driving licence for car rental or any other necessary document.
The customer must inform Seneasy before the service of any information that may affect its organisation, including mobility requirements or other specific needs.
12. Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances
Seneasy cannot be held responsible for any failure or delay in providing a service resulting from an unforeseen event or circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, major weather events, disruptions affecting travel, decisions by public authorities, exceptional site closures or major transportation disruptions.
In such circumstances, Seneasy will make every reasonable effort to offer the customer the most appropriate solution available.
13. Complaints
If a problem occurs during a service, the customer should contact Seneasy as soon as possible so that our team can try to resolve the issue during the stay.
Any complaint made after the service can be sent to:
Email: contact@seneasy.fr
WhatsApp: +221 78 102 51 83
The request should include sufficient information to identify the booking and a description of the issue encountered.
14. Personal Data
Personal data provided as part of a booking request or reservation is used to process the request, organise the service and manage the booking.
For further information about how personal data is used and protected, customers can consult the Seneasy Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Booking Terms and Conditions are governed by Senegalese law.
In the event of a problem or dispute relating to a booking, Seneasy and the customer will first seek to reach an amicable resolution.
If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to the competent courts in accordance with applicable rules.
